Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing, Forbidden City & Temple of Heaven
Airport pick up by well trained English speaking Beijing private tour guide with car/van as stated in booking details. The tour will begin at Wumen (Meridian Gate), the South Gate of Forbidden City. Forbidden City was the ancient imperial palaces for both Ming and Qing Dynasties where a total of 24 emperors had occupied throughout the history. There are too many interesting spots for you to visit within the park and you need to walk throughout the whole journey. Basically, the tour at Forbidden City will take around 2 hours and 30 minutes. Then, you will visit Temple of Heaven, which used to be the venue for ancient emperors to pray for peace and harvest. Return to hotel after the tour.

Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall
Hotel pickup and check out if necessary. It will take approximately 1 and a half hour drive to reach Mutianyu Great Wall which located about 53 miles northeast of Beijing. Originally built in the sixth century, Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the most popular sites for today’s tourists. Mutianyu is one of the wall’s most overdeveloped and crowded sections. Nevertheless, once you climb up the wall and move away from the crowds, it offers picture-postcard views of the Great Wall and the surrounding countryside. Upon arrival, you may choose either to climb up the Great Wall yourself or to reach the peak on an easy way via the assistance of cable car. Your private tour guide transfer you to Beijing Capital International Airport.
