A nice place to view the sunrise, Old Dragon’s Head (Laolongtou) – the easternmost portion of the wall built during the Ming Dynasty – has been nicely restored. The old Navy Barracks along the shore have also been rebuilt. The Qing Dynasty Temple of the Sea God (Haishen Miao), on the other side of the beach, is a good place to view the wall.
